WHAT IS COMMERCIAL EMBROIDERY?

Commercial Embroidery uses an embroidery machine that is controlled with a computer that embroiders specially created patterns. These machines may be only 1 head machines or may have multiple heads and threads (like ours shown above).

Embroidery is the art of embellishing a piece of apparel with a needle and thread to create a stunning visual representation of various types of designs. Logos are converted by the use of digitizing software and using various stitch patterns, angles, density and stitch types to create depth, movement and detail. There are several options for the thread used such as metallic, cotton, nylon, silk, rayon, polyester and even Nomex thread for fire resistance. Embroidery is extremely popular for use on most apparel, bags, hats, luggage, blankets and more.

ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES OF EMBROIDERY?

The advantage of embroidery is that it provides a durable and colorful design that will last a long time. The main disadvantage to embroidery is the cost. Depending on the complexity and size of the design to be embroidered, it can be more expensive than other decoration methods such as Screen Printing, DTG, HTV or Sublimation.
